Dr. Walid Alhoussan has over 24 years of medical expertise. Walid Al-Houssan graduated from high school as valedictorian. Damascus Medical School awarded him his medical degree in 1986 and his Masters in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 1989.

He began his career at the University of Bordeaux, France, where he practiced Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery under the renowned Professor Louis Trainssac. He changed his practice in Canada to Family Medicine after graduating from Laval University in Quebec City, QC in 2006. He rapidly began practicing both family and emergency medicine.

Dr. Al-Houssan has been providing great healthcare since beginning his office in Ottawa, and his practice has grown significantly. He also has expertise in minor surgery, ENT pathology, and joint infiltration. He is also capable of assisting a wide range of patients from various backgrounds. Dr. Al-Houssan is fluent in three languages: Arabic, French, and English, the latter two of which he learned on his own.
